I had a totally different post planned today, but I’ve been really touched by the amount of small business owners who have been posting about Black Friday. Or more specifically, not giving in to the lure of the discounted mass market and instead promoting a ‘shop small’ initiative.
I was really touched to be mentioned in a couple of these posts & inspired by all of the post promoting local, hand crafted businesses. So I thought I’d ditch my original blog post idea and do a fellow shout out to some amazing craftspeople.
Blush & Gold – This stationery is soo beautiful! Blush and Gold really inspired me to go ahead and start making my own collections. I love her artwork and how luxurious and polished her collections look.
Over tea and biscuits – super cute personalised Christmas baubles on sale NOW on easy! I love Christmas & calligraphy, so these are a double whammy for me! My personal favourite is the dos painted ‘let it snow’ bauble.
Little M Paper Goods – LOVE Little M paper goods, literally adorable! I’ve been following them for a while now and I adore their hand drawn goods. They use an amazing mix of hand lettering and pattern, often in really striking monochrome.
I’ve been buying Nikki Strange‘s designs for a long time, often buying them as gift for friends who have loved them. Beautiful cosmic & tropical prints are perfect to gift (or keep)!
The Norm – I’ve been in awe of Natalie’s work for a while now. Her crisp, bold and empowering lettering is super inspiring, not to mention striking. I would love to receive one of her prints as a gift – not dropping any hints to anyone, honest….
